Michael R. Taylor (RFF), J. Glenn Morris (UMD), Catherine E. Woteki (Iowa State), and Michael P. Doyle (UGA) provide an overview of the FSRC's goals, operating principles and research agenda, and a briefing on the Consortium's initial project, which is the development of a model to compare and rank the relative public health impact of specific pathogen-food combinations.  The project is funded by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). Pamela Russo, M.D., a senior program officer at RWJF, also participates.
